Steps
Initial brief & meeting
Provide a general detail of the type of project you are wanting to build, via email or phone. For example, renovation of home, carport, patio or extension.
A meeting on site is arranged to discuss your project and look at an issue that may be there- this is a free service and no obligation to proceed.
PROPOSAL
A fee proposal is created for the project outlining the documentation required. We can arrange any or all sub consultants require for the project from Structural engineers, soil testing, town planning etc. We are a one stop shop to help bring your ideas onto plans.
All projects are broken down into three sections, design concept, working drawing and engineering.
Once the fee proposal is accepted and a deposit is paid, the project is started.
CONCEPT DESIGN
This is a process to put all your ideas on to paper and work through any design changes and ensure we are staying on budget. The design concept this will take around 3 to 4 weeks pending workload.
FINAL STAGE - WORKING DRAWINGS
This is the final stage of the design where we add all the technical details to the drawings. Allow 4 - 5weeks for this to be completed. We engage the sub consultants like the structural engineer to complete structural details. Then the plans can be sent to your builder to submit to the building certifier for building approval.
